Information campaigns for representatives of Khukumats of Khatlon region and GBAO
In December 2021, the Grant Management Company and the Project Implementation Group of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan conducted information campaigns in the form of information seminars for representatives of the Khukumats of the target areas of the World Bank project "Rural Economy Development" implementation in Khatlon and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast. Seminars were held in the following cities: Bokhtar – on December 10th, Khorog – on December 17th and Kulyab – on December 29th, 2021.
The seminars were attended by employees of the departments for the development of tourism and the agricultural sector of Khukumats from 33 districts of GBAO and Khatlon.
The purpose of these events was to familiarize the participants of the information seminar with the goals and objectives of the project, the types of grants and activities for which grants will be allocated, the target beneficiaries, the procedure for submitting applications for grants, examples of projects for financing, as well as acquaintance with the project implementers and contact persons in the regions who are grant enablers of the project.
These events at the level of oblast’ Khukumats are the beginning of a broader awareness-raising campaign, which will be continued in the districts and jamoats of these regions by the project grant enablers.
