In the period from 15 to 22 November 2022 will be a mission of the World Bank to support the implementation of the Rural Economy Development Project.

On November 17 of this year, a virtual meeting of the Bank's mission under the leadership of Ms. Tatiana Segal (Senior Economist of Financial Sector) was held with the leadership and staff of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Majidi Yusuf Khairullo also took part and spoke at this meeting and informed the Bank’s mission about important issues related to the implementation of the project.

During the meeting between the Bank’s mission and the staff of PIU, an exchange of views was held on the results achieved, the main issues within the project and ways to solve them.

According to the schedule until November 21, meetings and working consultations of the Bank's mission with the staff of PIU, international and local consulting companies, as well as with the leadership of relevant government bodies are planned. The final meeting of the Bank's mission with the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the staff of PIU will be held on November 22 this year.
