Training on the Topic “Documentation of Grant Projects, Quality Control, Social Assessment Issues” within the Framework of the Rural Economy Development Project
Within the framework of the Rural Economy Development project, on September 7-8, 2022, a training on the topic “Documentation of grant projects, quality control, social assessment issues” was held at the Guliston Hotel in Dushanbe. The purpose of this training is to increase the level of knowledge of the management and employees of the Grant Enabler companies and the Project Implementation Unit in the field of documentation and quality control of grant projects (applications), as well as in social issues related to the implementation of the project.
This two-day training was attended by managers and relevant staff of the Grant Enablers and the Rural Economy Development Project staff.
During the training, the specialists of the international Grant Management Company provided the participants with the necessary information on the main issues related to a part of grant projects, including grants and the terms of their payments, requirements for the applicant, business and goals, types of business and necessary documents, business entities - farms, a list of documents for farms and small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of agribusiness, the main mistakes and shortcomings and ways to eliminate them, the submission of monthly statistical reports, quality control of submitted projects, a checklist and a list of projects, issues of cooperation and communication between the GMC and facilitators, as well as information on the plan to improve the Grant Program Manual.
It is worth noting that one of the topics of the training is the prevention of exploitation, violence and sexual harassment in accordance with the requirements and policies of the World Bank. In this regard, the participants of the training were informed about the main conditions and requirements of the World Bank on the prevention of exploitation, violence and sexual harassment in the framework of the project. In this regard, in accordance with the requirements of the project documents, all project staff signed the Code of Conduct.
At the same time, the necessary information was provided as part of the training on issues related to the implementation of the Grievance Redress Mechanism under the Rural Economy Development project.
